CUCUMBER and BANANA on Channel 4 and E4

Sixteen years on from his ground-breaking series ‘Queer as Folk’, Russell T Davies’ new set of intertwining dramas about LGBT life in Manchester kicks off tomorrow night with CUCUMBER on Channel 4 at 9pm, followed by BANANA on E4 at 10pm.

The first four episodes of BANANA are directed by Lewis Arnold, with the closing two directed by Al Mackay, and the series features Lauren Carse as Grace and Peter Caulfield as Francesco.

Francesco’s character also appears, alongside James Murray and Ceallach Spellman, in the cast of CUCUMBER, which showcases production design by Melanie Allen.
