Felix Martin longlisted for Guardian First Book Award

Felix Martin's MONEY: THE UNAUTHORISED BIOGRAPHY (Bodley Head) is on a eleven-strong longlist for the 2013 Guardian First Book Award. The Guardian calls MONEY 'a fresh, lively study into what money actually is'.

MONEY: AN UNAUTHORISED BIOGRAPHY unfolds an alternative, secret history of money – what it is and how it works. Drawing on stories from throughout human history and around the globe, Money radically reconfigures your understanding of our greatest invention and rearranges your understanding of the world.

The winner of the prize will be announced at a party at Tate Modern in November.
