IFTA Nominations January 2018

Nominations have been announced for the 2018 Irish Film & Television Academy's Film and Drama Awards and we are delighted that a number of UA clients have been recognised.

Cast by Louise Kiely CDG, Handsome Devil has been nominated in the Feature Film category with Andrew Scott receiving a nomination for Best Actor In A Supporting Role.

Victoria Smurfit has been nominated for Best Actress In A Supporting Role for her performance in The Lears.

In the drama category; Game Of Thrones, starring Kit Harington, Richard Dormer, David Bradley and Aisling Franciosi and Line Of Duty, with Christopher Coghill, Patrick Baladi,  Jason Watkins and Edited by Andrew McClelland, Music by Carly Paradis and Director of Photography Anna Valdez Hanks, have both received nominations for Best Drama. 

Richard Dormer has been nominated for Best Actor In A Leading Role - Drama for his performance in Rellik and the Best Actress In A Supporting Role - Drama category nominations include Angelina Ball for Acceptable Risk, Jessie Buckley for Taboo and Genevieve O’Reilly for Tin Star.  The Secret Market written by Conor Ryan has been nominated for Best Live Action Short.

The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 15th February.
