ILO ILO earns 6 nominations for Golden Horse Awards

Anthony Chen’s Camera d’Or winning debut ILO ILO has earned 6 nominations at this year’s Taipei Golden Horse Awards.

The film, which chronicles the relationship between a family of three and their newly arrived Filipino maid, will contend for Best Feature Film, Best New Director, Best Supporting Actress (Yeo Yann Yann), Best Supporting actor (Chen Tianwen), Best New Performer (Koh Jia Ler) and Best Original Screenplay (Anthony Chen).

ILO ILO was also recently selected by Singapore as its Foreign Language entry in next year’s Oscars.
