JB Priestley's AN INSPECTOR CALLS opens on the West End

JB Priestley's classic AN INSPECTOR CALLS makes its much-anticipated return to the West End, featuring the work of Oscar-winning composer Stephen Warbeck and sound designer Sebastian Frost. Priestley's haunting masterpiece, following the story of a peaceful family dinner party shattered by investigations into the death of a young woman, remains as powerful and morally urgent today as was was on its debut in 70 years ago.

This production marks the 70th anniversary of the first UK staging of the play and the 25th anniversary of its first appearance at the National Theatre. Daldry’s production has won a total of 19 major awards since 1992, including four Tony Awards and three Olivier Awards, and has played to more than 4 million theatergoers worldwide.

AN INSPECTOR CALLS runs at the Playhouse Theatre from Friday 4th November 2016 – Saturday 4th February 2017.
