John Barr wins Best Cinematography award for THIS TEACHER at BendFilm Festival

The Best Cinematography win for our Director of Photography, John Barr, comes after the film's win for Best Narrative at the LA Film Festival earlier this year.

This Teacher, directed by Mark Jackson, has also been selected for the London Film Festival, and will be showing at the BFI Southbank on the 20th and 21st of October.

The film follows Hafsia, an Arab-French young woman visiting her childhood friend in New York City. She struggles to sufficiently explain her increasingly complex yearnings, due to language barriers and a philosophy she is still working out. Pushing even further into the unknown, she departs the city for a remote cabin upstate, where her communion with nature is impeded by new arrivals.
