The Last Kingdom

THE LAST KINGDOM will premiere tonight, 22nd October, at 9 pm on BBC 2. This is Carnival Films' 8 part television adaptation of Bernard Cornwell's best-selling historical series, The Saxon Stories.

The program will be set in the late 9th century, when England was divided between the Anglo-Saxons and the Danes. King Alfred the Great of Wessex, played by United Agents' own David Dawson, must face this Viking invasion, resulting in the true birth of England.

THE LAST KINGDOM features other United Agents clients, including Emily Cox as the rebellious Brida, Adrian Bower as the warrior Leofric and Madeleine Power as Young Thyra.
