Monica Galetti at the top of The Gherkin

Monica Galetti, star of BBC Master Chef The Professionals, has created a lunch and dinner set menu at Searcys, the restaurant on the 39th floor of The Gherkin. The unique dining experience will be available from now until 11th Feb 2016 and is inspired by Monica's passion for seasonal produce.

Monica says: ‘ I am delighted to create a special menu for the Gherkin which is such an iconic landmark in London.  Inside and outside the building you can appreciate the stunning architecture, which makes it an inspiring place for a private members club and restaurant.  It is enjoyable to create the menu for a limited public opening of this interesting venue.’

Menu highlights include starters such as black curry scallops, main dishes such as short rib of beef, pumpkin tart and seasonal game and tempting puddings such as chocolate peanut butter fondant.
