Nell Gwynn returns to the Globe

Winner of the 2016 Olivier Award for Best New Comedy, Nell Gywnn returns to the Globe after embarking on its first ever UK tour, direct from critically acclaimed, sell out runs in the West End. The play was a hit with Globe audiences on its premiere in 2015, with Gugu Mbatha-Raw in the lead, and transferred to the West End with Gemma Arterton as Nell.

Nell Gywnn is directed by Christopher Luscombe, and stars Olivier-Award Nominee Laura Pitt Pulford as the eponymous actress and mistress of Charles II. It is brought to the stage by English Touring Theatre, in association with Nica Burns, Eleanor Lloyd Productions and Paula Marie Black.
