New series MARCELLA on ITV

Brand New Crime drama MARCELLA by The Bridge creator Hans Rosenfeldt kicks off tonight on ITV.

Former detective Marcella Backland is shocked to the core when husband Jason leaves her unexpectedly, with a confession he no longer loves her. Heartbroken, she returns to her job on the Met's murder squad that she gave up 10 years before to have her second child, and decides to follow up on a hunch she had in a case involving a serial killer.

UA's Laura Carmichael stars as Maddy Stevenson alongside Jack Doolan who plays D.C. Mark Travis and Patrick Baladi as chairman of the board Stephen Holmes. Block one of the series was edited by UA's Mike Jones.
