New Three Book Deal for Nick Spalding

Amazon imprint Lake Union has signed a three-book, six-figure deal with comedy author Nick Spalding, whose books have sold over 1 million copies worldwide.

Editor Sammia Hamer acquired world English rights from Ariella Feiner. The first book in the series, You Again!, will be a lead title for Lake Union in August 2021, published simultaneously in the UK, US and Australia. The as-yet-untitled second and third books will be released in 2022 and 2023.

You Again! picks up three years since lead characters Amy and Joel got divorced, and eight years since they spent their honeymoon on the extremely small island of Wimbufushi. It was a glorious week of love, sun and an all-inclusive minibar. While their honeymoon was the best seven days they ever spent together, the marriage itself was an absolute disaster. And despite the arguments, recrimination and betrayal, neither Joel nor Amy ever forgot their time spent on Wimbufushi. So much so that, having found new partners they both decide to go back – you guessed it: picking the same week to visit. Set over a seven-day period, the novel relates the mishaps, embarrassing situations and stunning revelations that follow.
