Olivier Award Nominations Announced

The full list of Olivier Award nominations has been announced, and we’re thrilled to have a wealth of UA clients amongst them - Congratulations!

Tom Hollander is nominated for Best Actor for his role as Henry Carr in Travesties at Apollo Theatre. The production is also up for Best Revival, with Adam Cork also being up for Best Sound Design.

This House is nominated for Best Revival at Garrick Theatre, starring Kevin Doyle, Ed Hughes and Christopher Godwin, with Associate Director Jonathan O’Boyle.

The Comedy About A Bank Robbery is up for Best New Comedy, written by Henry Lewis, Henry Shields, and Jonathan Sayer. Also up for Best New Comedy is The Truth, feat. sound design by Gregory Clarke.

Neil Austin is nominated for the White Light Award for Best Lighting Design for his work on Harry Potter And The Cursed Child.

The Girls is up for the Mastercard Best New Musical, with Projection Designer Alex Uragallo and choreographer Lizzi Gee.

Anna Francolini stars in Peter Pan at the National Theatre, which is nominated for Best Entertainment and Family.

In the Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre category, Rotterdam is nominated at Trafalgar Studios 2 with designer Ellan Parry.

Jesus Christ Superstar is nominated for Magic Radio Best Musical Revival, and stars Peter Caulfield.

Directed by Kwame Kwei-ArmahOne Night in Miami is nominated for the Virgin Atlantic Best New Play award. 

Finally Ian McKellan is up for Best Actor in No Man’s Land, directed by Sean Mathias.

The Olivier Awards will take place this year at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 9 April.
