On August 26th THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG will close on Broadway after 585 performances. Written by United Agents’ clients, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Burke and Henry Shields, it will be the 4th longest running production in the history of the Lyceum Theatre as well as having been the longest running play on Broadway for about a year – a phenomenal achievement.

Starting in September, the play will then embark on a 44 week US tour encompassing some huge venues across the United States, including a 5 week engagement at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles.

The production has drawn widespread critical acclaim during its run in New York. The Stage called it “the funniest play on Broadway;” the Chicago Tribune hailed “a remarkable farce” whilst Variety found the whole show “broad, silly and deliciously demented...comic gold.” It also won a Tony award for Best Set Design.
