Civilisations, a new, landmark eight-part series presented by Simon Schama , Mary Beard and David Olusoga , starts tomorrow on BBC 2 at 21.00. Revisiting and updating the groundbreaking 1969 series, the epic series will examine more than 500 works of art and span six continents and 31 countries.
