SAND IN THE SANDWICHES opens at the Theatre Royal Haymarket

Sand in the Sandwiches, a celebration of the poet laureate John Betjeman, opens tonight at the Theatre Royal Haymarket following a sell out tour of the UK. Directed by Gareth Armstrong and starring BAFTA award winner Edward Fox, Sand in the Sandwiches traces Betjeman’s life from boyhood to poet laureate famous for his wit, warmth and irreverance. Sand in the Sandwiches runs for one week only at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, until 3rd June.
