STAG: Finale Episode on BBC2
The final episode of comedy-thriller STAG, starring the BAFTA winning Jim Howick airs this Saturday, 12th March at 9pm on BBC2.
The genre-busting three-parter (directed and co-written by BAFTA and Golden Globe nominee Jim Field Smith) follows mild-mannered geography teacher Ian Telford (Jim Howick) on the stag weekend of his future brother-in-law.
Among this obnoxious and entitled group of mates, whose hunting expedition leaves them stranded in the wilderness of the Scottish highlands, the unassuming outsider Ian becomes an unlikely hero as an unseen killer starts to pick off members of the Stag party one by one. Under the ever-watchful eye of a gruff and mysterious gamekeeper (played by James Cosmo) the group's friendships are tested to the limit, and dark secrets emerge as the hunters become the hunted when their weekend turns into a terrifying battle for survival.
"It gets better, and better, and the humour finally takes a back seat to the humanity. Stick with this: wholly rewarding and surprising" The Guardian
"Brilliant new dark comedy from BBC Two... the star of Stag is undoubtedly actor Jim Howick" Metro
