Stephen Warbeck's THE MAN IN THE HAT to premiere at Ciné Lumière

We are excited for the extremely talented Stephen Warbeck’s directorial debut, THE MAN IN THE HAT.

Described by Institut Français as ‘an astonishing feat of contemporary film-making’, the feature will premiere at Ciné Lumière on 18^th September, with several screenings to follow. Stephen not only co-writes and directs alongside John-Paul Davidson, but also takes his usual helm as composer in this silent comedy, starring Ciarán Hinds and Stephen Dillane.

While journeying through France in a Fiat 500, accompanied by the framed photograph of an unknown woman, the man in the hat is relentlessly pursued by five angry men in a Citroen Dyane. Who is he? Why are they chasing him? And how can he lose them?
