Trailer for PHILOMENA released

Here is the first trailer for PHILOMENA, written by Jeff Pope and Steve Coogan. Directed by Stephen Frears, Philomena is the true-life tale of a woman forced to give up her young son by the Catholic church, who sold him for adoption. Judi Dench stars as Philomena Lee, hoping to find her child some 50 years on, with Steve Coogan as journalist Martin Sixsmith, who heard of her search, then helped her through the journey.

Philomena premieres at the Venice film festival later this month before opening in the UK on 1 November.
