UA Clients Win at British Book Awards

We are thrilled to announce that Caleb Azumah Nelson and Phil Earle both won their categories at the British Book Awards, also known as the Nibbies.

Caleb's novel Open Water won the Fiction: Debut category, as well as the Marketing Strategy of the year for the team at Viking. The judges agreed it is a “story that needs to be told”. It tells a love story and examines masculinity in a “beautiful, vulnerable” way. Caleb's second novel, Small Worlds, is forthcoming from Viking in May 2023.

Phil Earle won the Children's Fiction category with his 20th book, When the Sky Falls, published by Andersen Press. It was described by the judges as 'heartfelt, movingly written, and a remarkable achievement’. Phil's next book with Andersen, While the Storm Rages, will be published in June 2022.
