UA Directors make Variety's ‘10 Directors to Watch’ List

Two of UA’s directing talents, Anthony Chen and Amma Asante, have been selected for Variety’s 2013 ’10 Directors to Watch’ list.

Anthony’s debut feature ILO ILO has picked up 19 awards so far on this year’s festival circuit, most notably the Camera d’Or at Cannes, 4 awards at Taiwan’s Golden Horse Awards, and the Sutherland Award for First Feature at the BFI London Film Festival.  

Amma’s period-drama BELLE had its premiere during this year’s Toronto Film Festival, receiving rave reviews and subsequently getting picked up for US and UK distribution by Fox Searchlight.
