Universal Picks Up DAD'S ARMY

Universal Pictures has acquired the worldwide rights to British feature DAD’S ARMY, written by Hamish McColl and based on the characters from the original TV series. Produced by Damian Jones, the remake will commence shooting in October with director Oliver Parker at the helm. Catherine Zeta-Jones, Bill Nighy and Toby Jones will star. Martin Savage also joins the cast.
