A VERY ENGLISH SCANDAL to air on BBC1 this Sunday

The first episode of three-part A Very English Scandal is to be aired on BBC1 this Sunday at 9pm. Based on the novel by John Preston, the drama tells the shocking true story of disgraced MP Jeremy Thorpe, who in 1979 went to murderous lengths to cover up a past love affair. With Jason Watkins in the role of Emlyn Hooson. Production Design is by Helen Scott, and Danny Cohen is Director of Photography. Costume design by Suzanne Cave, Hair & Make up by Daniel Phillips and Choreography by Francesca Jaynes.

Part two will be airing on Sunday 27^th May, and part three on Sunday 3^rd June.
