A Winning Night at the BAFTAs

Huge congratulations to our clients who took home a much coveted BAFTA last night.

Writer Jeff Pope won for Best Adapted Screenplay alongside his writing partner Steve Coogan for feature film, PHILOMENA. Jeff has also been nominated for an Academy Award which will take place on the 2nd March. Based on the book by journalist Martin Sixsmith, and starring Judi Dench, it tells the true story of Philomena Lee's 50 year long search for her son.

Writer Sarah Woolner also won for Best British Short Animation, SLEEPING WITH THE FISHES, directed by Yousif Al-Khalifa. Find a link to the film's website below:
