In 2023, he filmed the feature film, GOLDA, opposite Helen Mirren. He can also be seen playing John Jay in the new Apple TV series, FRANKLIN, which stars Michael Douglas.
In 2021, Ed filmed THE PRINCESS for Hulu and Peter Kosminsky’s DARKNESS RISING for Channel 4.
In early 2020, Ed played a lead role in Tom Stoppard’s rave-reviewed play, LEOPOLDSTADT, at the Wyndham's Theatre in London's West End.
He could recently be seen in the regular role of Lucas Becker in HBO's upcoming marquee show, TRACKERS.
In 2019, Ed filmed the upcoming TV adaptation of Aldous Huxley's BRAVE NEW WORLD, produced by Amblin/Dreamworks for NBC Universal.
Over 2017 and 2018, Ed played the regular role of King Philip for two series of History Channel’s tentpole show, KNIGHTFALL.
Ed’s other recent TV credits include THE CROWN, THE FRANKENSTEIN CHRONICLES and HOME FIRES S2.
