Luke trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in London. He worked for ten years as an actor, with television and films including The Ice House, Into Thin Air, Still Crazy, Invasion: Earth and Forbidden Territory before turning to writing.

Work includes RUBY STRANGELOVE (Director Evgeny Ruman) and THE ANGEL (Director Ariel Vromen), with projects in development including, THE DEPARTMENT (director Simon Fellows); IN THE SHADOW OF THE HANGMAN (Producer Matthew O’Toole); HINDENBURG (Producers Walter F. Parkes & Laurie MacDonald) and THE ENGLISHMAN (director Edward Berger).

Luke’s adaptation of John Webster’s THE DUCHESS OF MALFI starring Morfydd Clark, Sam Riley and Dominic Cooper and directed by Guillem Morales is slated to begin shooting in Italy and London in November 2021.

THE MAN WHO STOLE THE SKY, directed by Craig Roberts and produced by Miriam Segal for Good Films Collective will shoot in the US in 2022.

Luke is represented in the US by Jeff Barry and James Robins Early at ICM Partners, Los Angeles.
