BAFTA Winners Announced 2016
The great and the good of the TV world gathered at London's Royal Festival Hall for the 2016 BAFTA Television Awards, with UA clients taking home a number of the coveted statuettes.
Kicking off the proceedings, WOLF HALL steals the first Award for Best Drama series directed by the incredible Peter Kosminsky.
STRICTLY COME DANCING win their very first BAFTA for Best Entertainment Show, with professional Strictly dancer Joanne Clifton. Also scoring their first BAFTA is FIRST DATES, voiced by the wonderful Brian Protheroe for the Reality and constructed factual Award.
EASTENDERS reclaim their the title for Best Soap and Continuing Drama Award with Danny-Boy Hatchard, Laurie Brett and Toby Frow. THIS IS ENGLAND '90 take home the Best Mini-Series award with UA's Jonny Owen starring as Tim.
Rounding off the evening, David OIusoga takes home the Best Specialist Factual BAFTA Award for BRITAINS FORGOTTEN SLAVE OWNERS.
