MEDICI: MASTERS OF FLORENCE begins on Netflix

This Friday 9^th December sees the launch of the brand new Netflix drama MEDICI: MASTERS OF FLORENCE.

The upcoming series features a host of UA actors, including Alessandro Sperduti, Lex Shrapnel, David Bradley, James Murray, and Daniel Caltagirone , while Alex von Tunzelmann has written one of the episodes.

The eight-part drama, stars Dustin Hoffman and Richard Madden as members of the Medici family, the Italian bankers who turned a small family business into a financial empire and went on to fund the greatest artists of the Renaissance.

Created by writer and producer Frank Spotnitz and Nicholas Meyer, the series is produced by Lux Vide, Big Light Productions, Wild Bunch TV and RAI Fiction, and has already been greenlit for season 2.
