Broadcast Awards 2017

United Agents are delighted to announce our winners from the Broadcast Awards 2017!

FLEABAG won Best Multichannel Programme and Best Original Programme. The series was directed by Harry Bradbeer, edited by Paul Machliss ACE (pilot) and Gary Dollner ACE, script edited by Vicky Jones and starred Olivia Colman, Sian Clifford and Jamie Demetriou.

Stefan Golaszewski’s MUM, shot by Ben Wheeler, won Best Comedy. The judges described it as "a genuinely funny and moving piece of work that subverted expectations".

EMMERDALE won the Soap or Continuing Drama category. Sarah Bagshaw is one of the core writers and it stars Bhasker Patel, Gillian Kearney and Charley Webb.

THE REAL MARIGOLD GOLD HOTEL won best Popular Factual Programme. The series stars Miriam Margolyes and Sylvester McCoy.

Chloë Thomson was Director of Photography on ELLEN, which won Best Single Drama.
