Jane Tennison returns in PRIME SUSPECT 1973

Jane Tennison, the fictional detective made famous by Dame Helen Mirren, was back on UK television screens last night when the first episode of PRIME SUSPECT 1973 - a prequel series which explores Tennison's early years on the police force - aired. Played by Stefanie Martini, Tennison becomes quickly embroiled in her first murder case whilst having to deal with the casual sexism of her male colleagues. With music by Carly Paradis and featuring UA's Nancy Carroll, Jay Taylor and Lex Shrapnel, the next epsidoe of PRIME SUSPECT 1973 will air at 9pm on Thursday 9th March on ITV. Don't miss it!
