Will is adapting his debut novel, THE APPARITION PHASE, which was shortlisted for shortlisted for the McKitterick Prize 2021 for Element Pictures and he is co-writing a pilot KLF with Rufus Jones for Channel X.
His eight part comedy drama for Audible, HIGH STRANGENESS, starring Sophie McShera, Adam James, Javone Prince and Anna Chancellor, is on Audible. Will has also co-written a comedy feature film, DEEP FRIED BASTARDS, with Joel Morris, Jason Hazeley and Marc Haynes which is in development with North of Watford Films and Ingenious.
He recently wrote for Tracey Ullman’s show TRACEY BREAKS THE NEWS, and has been a regular writer on the BAFTA winning CBBC comedy show CLASS DISMISSED.
THE PITCH, the short film he co-wrote with Marc Haynes, starring Richard Glover (“The Casual Vacancy”) and Justin Edwards (“The Thick of It”) picked up three awards at the 2015 New York Film and Television Festival. Will also co-wrote and directed THE CUNNING WOMAN with Joel Morris, which featured Isy Suttie and Rufus Jones.
In 2012, Will collaborated with Isabel Fay on the hit internet viral “Thank You Hater”, which won the Poke’s sketch of the year, Best Music Video Award at the LA Comedy Festival and spent two weeks at the top of the iTunes downloads comedy chart.
Will’s collaborations with John Camm have won them a Writers Guild Award, a Children’s BAFTA and an International Emmy Award in 2010 for their episode of SHAUN THE SHEEP “Who’s the Caddy?” Their collection of animated shorts WHAT MAKES ME, ME? AND OTHER INTERESTING QUESTIONS was nominated for a Children’s BAFTA award in 2013, and Will and John have also picked up a Gold Award at the World Media Festival for their training video 30 WAYS TO MAKE MORE TIME for Video Arts.
