Strike - The Cuckoo's Calling on BBC One

The BBC has released the first trailer for upcoming drama Strike - The Cuckoo's Calling, adapted from the novel by Robert Galbraith (aka JK Rowling) – and it's just as atmospheric as we imagined.

The drama was directed by Michael Keillor and stars Natasha O’Keeffe, Tara Fitzgerald and Genevieve Gaunt.

The three part series also was Edited by Gareth C. Scales, with Production Design by Helen Scott and Costume Design by Suzanne Cave.​

Strike - The Cuckoo's Calling begins Sunday, August 27 at 9pm on BBC One. Check out the trailer below:
