EE BAFTA Film Nominations 2018

Nominations have been announced for the 2018 BAFTA Film Awards and we’re thrilled to have a host of UA clients nominated.

Lady Macbeth is nominated for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer and was written by Alice Birch and directed by William Oldroyd

Paul Machliss ACE and Jonathan Amos ACE both gain a nomination for Best Editing, for their fantastic work on Baby Driver, which was produced by Nira Park.

Daniel Phillips gains a nomination in the Best Make-up and Hair category for his work on Victoria and Abdul.

Nominated in the Outstanding British Film category are: The Death Of Stalin, with George Potts, Dermot Crowley and hair and make-up design by Nicole Stafford; God’s Own Country, with cinematography by Joshua James Richards and costume design by Sian Jenkins; Paddington 2, starring Sanjeev Bhaskar, Jamie Demetriou, Peter Capaldi, Joel Fry and Maggie Steed; and Lady Macbeth.

Loving Vincent, with hair and make-up design by Sallie Jaye and cinematography by Tristan Oliver, is nominated for Best Animated Film, whilst Kingdom Of Us, edited by Maya Maffioli, is nominated in the Outstanding Debut category.

The 71st BAFTA Awards will take place on Sunday 18th February.
