Civilisations launches on BBC Two

Civilisations, a new landmark series presented by Simon Schama, Mary Beard and David Olusoga, starts tomorrow on BBC Two at 21.00. Inspired by the groundbreaking 1969 Kenneth Clark  programmes, this epic eight-part series will examine more than 500 works of art and span six continents and 31 countries. 

Simon Schama presents episodes one, three, five and eight, while David Olusoga presents episodes 6 and 8  and has written one of the two tie-in books for the series.
