RTS Awards 2018 Winners

The winners of the 2018 RTS Awards were announced last night, and we are delighted to have a plethora of UA clients’ take home awards.

Daniel Lawrence Taylor took home the Breakthrough Award for his debut series Timewasters for ITV.

Taking home the award for best Mini-Series is Three Girls starring Peter SinghJackie CluneMaggie Service and production design by Melanie Allen.

Murdered for Being Different won the award for Single Drama, and stars Christopher CoghillHair and Make-up design by Jenna Wrage and production design by James Lapsley.

Netflix’s The Crown was also among the winners, picking up the special recognition award for its ‘outstanding contribution to the reputation of British television around the world.’, with Philip Martin directing the opening episodes and starring Daniel IngsMartin MarquezLizzy McInnerny and James Garnon.

The End of The F***ing Worldedited by Mike Jones won for best Drama Series, and This Country with Ashley McGuire won the award for Scripted Comedy,

Finally, Coronation Street  was named best soap, with writing by David IsaacJohn KerrCarmel Morgan and stars Jane DansonCatherine TyldesleyAntony CottonLucy FallonDebbie Rush and Julia Goulding.
