IFTA Nominations

Nominations have been announced for the 2018 IFTA Gala Television Awards and we are delighted that a number of UA clients have been recognised.

Sharon Horgan is nominated for both Female Performance in a Soap or Comedy and Writing for Soaps and Comedy for her acclaimed series Catastrophe.

Channel 4’s Derry Girls gains four nominations, including Best Comedy. The show was created and written by Lisa McGee, directed by Michael Lennox, co-edited by Joe Randall-Cutler, and stars Claire Rafferty and Michael Shea.

Finally, Cathy Brady is nominated for Best Director of a Comedy or Soap for Can't Cope, Won't Cope, and Diarmuid Goggins is nominated in the same category for Red Rock.

The ceremony will take place at the RDS in Dublin on Thursday 31st May 2018.
