Adrian Banyard

Adrian is currently Senior Development Producer at Big Light where he has recently associate produced RANSOM. He started his career at Central Films, producers of MORSE, SHARPE and SOLDIER SOLDIER. He got his first script editing job on the Carlton series THIEF TAKERS and now has nearly 25 years experience as a script executive, development producer and script editor, having worked on over 150 hours of produced television drama for BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and international broadcasters.

He’s previously worked for indies such as Ecosse Films, Company Pictures and Zeppotron and is currently a development producer at STV, working on a range of drama and comedy projects for all the major broadcasters. His credits include the upcoming BBC 4 parter The Victim, starring Kelly MacDonald and John Hannah, the first series of Charlie Brooker’s BLACK MIRROR, THE POISON TREE, WILD AT HEART, MISTRESS, CAPE WRATH, IN DEEP, PEAK PRACTICE and three series of MONARCH OF THE GLEN.
