BODYGUARD premieres this Sunday on BBC One

The first episode of the highly anticipated new series, BODYGUARD, will air this Sunday at 9pm on BBC One. Created and written by Jed Mercurio (LINE OF DUTY), the show stars Keeley Hawes, as Home Secretary Julia Montague, and Richard Madden as David Budd, a war veteran and Personal Protection Officer who is assigned as her bodyguard. Also starring are Gina McKee, as David's boss Anne Sampson, Richard Riddell and David Carlyle. 

With production design by James Lapsley and cinematography by John Lee, BODYGUARD is set to be an explosive, edge-of-your seat thriller that will have viewers hooked over the coming weeks, and they will not have long to wait for Episode 2 as it airs Monday at 9pm on BBC One. Be sure not to miss it!
