ORCHID & THE WASP longlisted for Authors' Club Best First Novel Award 2019

Many congratulations to Caoilinn Hughes (whom we represent on behalf of The Clegg Agency) whose brilliant debut novel has been longlisted for the Authors' Club Best First Novel Award! First published in 2018 by Oneworld in the UK and Hogarth in the US, it has been described as a 'remarkable, propulsive debut novel' (TLS) and a 'funny, punny flash of genius with a sting in the tale' (Irish Independent).

The shortlist for the longest-running UK prize for debut fiction will be announced on Thursday 28th March with the winner revealed at a dinner at the National Liberal Club on 22nd May. More info here.
