Emily Thomas is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Durham University. She has published on space and time, seventeenth to twentieth century metaphysics, and women in the history of philosophy.
She sits on the editorial board of the British Journal for the History of Philosophy, the International Association for the Philosophy of Time, and the Bloomsbury Encyclopedia of Philosophers.
Thomas has written popular philosophy articles and blog posts, appeared on various radio shows and podcasts, and produced philosophy videos for Youtube.
Her first trade book, on the philosophy of travel, will be published by Oxford University Press.
