EMMA released today in UK Cinemas
The new feature adaptation of Jane Austen's classic novel Emma is released in UK cinemas today.
Featuring a stellar cast including our very own Johnny Flynn as George Knightley, Rupert Graves as Mr Weston, Anna Francolini as Mrs Goddard, Suzanne Toase as Mrs Cole, and Christopher Godwin as Mr Perry, the comedy-drama is a witty new take on Jane Austen’s classic novel in Autumn De Wilde's directorial debut. It follows the adventures of a young woman in Georgian and Regency-era England who likes to occupy herself with matchmaking. Despite her ongoing commitment to helping friends and family find love, Miss Woodhouse – who is known to be “handsome, clever and rich” – often finds that her matchmaking antics don’t always go to plan.
The script was written by the fantastic Eleanor Catton, and Marese Langan was the Hair & Make-Up Designer. Alex Reynolds was the Movement Choreographer.
