Comedy.co.uk Awards 2020 Winners

The British Comedy Guide Awards 2020 revealed their winners today and we are delighted that so many of our clients have been involved. 

Ricky Gervais picked up Best Returning TV Sitcom and Comedy of the Year 2020 for After Life. The hit show was produced by Charlie Hanson, edited by Jo Walker and also features a  whole host of UA acting talent including Diane Morgan, Tony Way, David Earl, David Bradley, Seb Cardinal, Colin Hoult and Tom Bennett. 

Would I Lie to You? won Best TV Panel Show - Hosted by Rob Brydon and writing by Steve Burge.

James McNicholas wrote and starred in Horrible Histories, alongside Harrie Hayes and  Ellie White which won Best TV Sketch Show. 

Inside No. 9 was crowned Best TV Comedy Drama, starring Ralf Little and edited by Joe Randall Cutler.

Tom Jamieson & Nev Fountain write for the satirical sketch series Dead Ringers which won Best Radio Sketch Show.
