Jane Casey shortlisted for Irish Independent Crime Book of the Year 2021

Jane Casey has been shortlisted for Irish Independent Crime Book of the Year at the An Post Irish Book Awards 2021 for her novel THE KILLING KIND. Jane has been shortlisted six times in the past, and won twice for her novels AFTER THE FIRE and CRUEL ACTS, both books in the Maeve Kerrigan detective series.

THE KILLING KIND is Jane's first standalone novel in ten years and follows barrister Ingrid who must place her trust in a dangerous ex-client after a series of events lead her to believe her life is in danger.

The winners of the An Post Irish Book Awards 2021 will be announced at an in-person ceremony on November 23rd.
