Aimee Oliver and Melissa Powell

Aimee Oliver and Melissa Powell are a married couple originally from Cambridgeshire, now living in York. Aimee works in publishing, and has worked on campaigns for prize-winners and Sunday Times bestsellers. Melissa is a lecturer in Film and Literature at the University of York, specialising in intersectional gender and queer theory. She has published book chapters and articles in notable academic journals, and her book Pepsi and the Pill: Motherhood, Politics and Film in Britain and France, 1958-1969 was published in late 2022. When they're not busy working, they like nothing more than playing video games and reading other writers' work.
