Rashida Seriki is a British-Nigerian writer-director, currently based in London. Her short film credits include award-winning debut short The Fence (2018), Colby (2021) which premiered at the BFI London Film Festival, which serves as a proof of concept for her debut feature film currently in development, and Maneater (2023) which she directed for BBC Comedy and aired on BBC Three and iPlayer.
As a writer, her pilot script The Four was a finalist for the Triforce Amazon Studios Writerslam competition and was nominated for the All3Media New Script Award at the Edinburgh TV Festival, New Voice Awards. For TV she has written a couple of episodes for series one and two of We Are Lady Parts (Channel 4/Peacock) and several episodes of Eastenders (BBC). She currently has her original series, Lovelessville, in development with VAL and ITV.
She recently graduated with a Masters in Black British Literature.
