United Agents clients nominated for FCBG Children's Book Award

The FCBG Children’s Book Award shortlist has been announced, with several UA clients making the cut. This is the only book award voted for by young people, with children from across the UK invited to select their favourite books across three categories: Books for Younger Children, Books for Younger Readers, and Books for Older Readers.

In the Younger Children category, we have two shortlistees: The Blue-Footed Booby (HarperCollins Children’s Books), written and illustrated by Rob Biddulph, and Where Has all the Cake Gone? (Macmillan Children’s Books), written by Andrew Sanders and illustrated by United Agents client Aysha Awwad.

Ollie Spark and the Accidental Adventure (David Fickling Books), written by Gillian Cross and illustrated by United Agents client Alan Snow, is nominated in the Younger Readers category.

In the Older Readers category, Phil Earle is shortlisted for While the Storm Rages (Andersen Press).

The winners of each category and the winner of the best overall children’s book for 2022 will be announced at an awards ceremony on Saturday 10th June 2023.
