Matthew studied English at Durham University and Merton College, Oxford, before working as a speechwriter in Westminster. He is the author of the novel ANNA O which will be published on January 1 in the US and Canada and February 2 in the UK and in over 30 territories around the world. ANNA O became an international sensation on submission, with 16 offers within 48 hours and went on to secure multiple record-breaking deals around the globe.
As a screenwriter, Matthew currently has projects in development with Sid Gentle, Firebird Pictures, Tall Story, The Ink Factory and Cowboy.
