Harry (they/she) is a queer, mixed-heritage writer, artist, wellbeing facilitator, and EDI consultant. Their first play, The Brenda Line, was commissioned by Pitlochry Festival Theatre for their 2024/25 season, and their first script for television, The Houdini Detectives, was a finalist in the Studio 21 Drama Series Prize. Their debut novel was a finalist for the Merky New Writers Book Prize 2023/24, an initiative spearheaded by Stormzy and Penguin Random House.

Harry is Associate Artist with Sanctuary Queer Arts in Glasgow and is on the board of directors for Summerhall Arts and Wonder Fools theatre company. They hold a BA in journalism and film and was The Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh’s first EDI Associate before becoming Federation of Scottish Theatre’s first Policy and Public Affairs Lead. They were a key member of the working group behind the creation of two Harassment in the Performing Arts guides for freelancers and organisations, which were rolled out and adopted across theatres and arts spaces in Scotland in 2022, and are a member of the implementation team working in response to Edinburgh Council’s Edinburgh Slavery and Colonialism Legacy Review, focusing on arts, culture and creative access.

Harry is an enthusiastic artist and has exhibited work in galleries in Scotland and London, as well as selling paintings internationally.
