Dan Beaumont is a key figure in London nightlife. He is a DJ, venue owner and party organiser. He opened Dalston Superstore in 2009, a celebrated queer bar, club, gallery and institution. He was also responsible for a basement club called Dance Tunnel, which shone brightly from 2012-2016, founded late night pizza brand Voodoo Ray’s, and drag bar The Karaoke Hole. As a DJ he has toured extensively playing for storied dancefloors like Panorama Bar, Fabric and Glastonbury’s NYC Downlow. Dan holds a decade-long residency on London radio station NTS Live and is responsible for era-defining parties like Disco Bloodbath (2007-2010), Macho City (2008-2010) and Chapter 10 (2013-2023). Dan is obsessed with nightlife and its history, drawing meaning from dancefloors and the people who meet there. He has an encyclopaedic knowledge of venues, queer culture, and club music.
