Broadcast Awards 2025

The Broadcast Awards 2025 celebrated the best in television, and we are delighted to see so many United Agents clients recognised for their outstanding contributions across multiple award-winning productions. Congratulations to all involved!

Hall of Fame – Gavin & Stacey
This beloved British comedy classic was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Created, written by, and starring James Corden, the show also features the incredible talents of Rob Brydon, Mathew Horne, and Laura Aikman.

Special Recognition – Mr Bates vs The Post Office
This powerful drama, directed by James Strong, received special recognition for its nationwide impact. The project featured exceptional work from our clients: Editor Mike Jones, Costume Designer Nigel Egerton, and Production Designer Antonia Lowe. On-screen, the cast included Conor Mullen, Kent Riley, Shaun Dooley, and Colin Tierney, with casting by Jill Trevellick.

Best Comedy Programme – Ludwig
Winning Best Comedy Programme, Ludwig boasts an exceptional cast, including Anna Maxwell Martin, Felicity Kendal, and Natali McCleary. Production was supported by our talented clients: Production Designer Melanie Collis, Costume Designer Gabriela Yiaxis, Hair & Makeup Designer Vanessa White, and Editor Nikki Marshall.

Best Drama Series – Blue Lights
Written by Declan Lawn and Adam Patterson, Blue Lights took home the award for Best Drama Series. Directed and executive produced by Gilles Bannier, with episodes 1 & 3 edited by Peggy Koretzky, the series also featured stellar performances from Richard Dormer and Hannah McClean.

Best International Programme Sales – Red Eye
The gripping thriller Red Eye, starring Richard Armitage, was awarded Best International Programme Sales, highlighting its success on a global scale.

Best Single Drama – On The Edge: Letting Go
United Agents’ Beru Tessema penned On The Edge: Letting Go, which won Best Single Drama. The production starred Clare-Hope Ashitey.

Best Soap/Continuing Drama – Coronation Street
A staple of British television, Coronation Street won Best Soap/Continuing Drama. We are proud to represent several cast members, including Ben Price, Julia Goulding, Liam McCheyne, Jane Danson, and Tony Maudsley, with episodes written by John Kerr.

Best Sports Programme – Paralympic Games Paris 2024
The coverage of the Paralympic Games Paris 2024 was recognised as Best Sports Programme, featuring contributions from George Robinson.
