THE BELLE'S STRATAGEM opens at The Southwark Playhouse

THE BELLE'S STRATAGEM, directed by Jessica Swale, opens at The Southwark Playhouse.

The play premiered in London in 1780 and was not only one of the most popular plays of it's time but also the most successful work by playwright Hannah Cowley.  This is it's first revival in over a century. 

The production features Maggie Steed as Mrs Rackett, Hannah Spearritt as Lady Frances and Tim Dorsett as Villers.
